Listing rules

• Everything is free. No prices, deposits, "shipping fees" or trades.
• Food: canned or dry goods only, sealed, unopened and in date. No fresh, frozen, home-cooked, opened or expired food. No baby formula past its date.
• No weapons, alcohol, tobacco or vaping products, medicines, recalled items, or anything illegal.
• Resource links should go to the real program, employer or fundraiser page.
• Fundraisers must be for a real person, family or cause you can vouch for.
• Mark items as given once they're gone so people don't keep asking.

Staying safe

• Never send money, gift cards or codes to receive a free item. Report anyone who asks.
• Meet in a public place, or use porch pickup. Bring a friend if you can.
• Don't post your home address publicly; share it privately once you've arranged a pickup.
• Check outside websites before entering personal details. Government programs end in .gov.
• See something wrong? Use "Report this listing" on any listing, and an admin will review it.
